ANIMALS AND PLANTS PROTECT THEMSELVES
3.1 Specific characteristics and behavior that protect animals from danger
1. Animals have to protect themselves from danger to stay alive.
2. Animals need to protect themselves from other animals that may want to kill them for food. For example, a deer has to protect itself from a tiger.
3. Animals also need to protect themselves from human beings who may hunt or harm them. For example, a pangolin will roll up into a ball-like shape to protect itself.
